And, of course, The Dues........................In loving memory of Czar Jäger von Dirthawkers SE (Wirehaired Dachsund Male) August 27th, 2005 to August 18th, 2008 (Killed by a stray Rottweiler while out on a training hunt. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR DOGS TO RUN UNATTENDED! Had this Rottie been home where he belonged, my Jäger would still be alive). We had to say Goodbye to our little Kimber-roo (Female mini Dachshund. June 25th, 2005 to November 12, 2009) due to Myelomalacia. We learned later that it ran in her lines. Had the breeders been responsible ones and not bred that line. Kimber would not have had to have suffered...I will miss them all terribly!

Short Biography on Myself

Born June 4th, 1962 in Prineville Oregon. I actively worked in the motion picture industry. Between this, and working part-time training horses and dogs, I led a very rewarding life.

I married my first love on December 31st, 1986. After moving into his residence, we fenced the land and turned it into a hobby farm which we named "Whispering Pines K-9's". Here we train and trial Old Style Border Collies and Standard Dachshunds.

Unfortunately my husband's health forced me into early retirement from the motion picture industry. However that part of my life I will always keep in my heart.

I now spend much of my time on many projects I enjoy, especially writing, and training and trialing my dogs. Some of my writings have been published on line and in magazines. I am currently working on a literary fiction novelette and a fact based story about my working dachshunds. I submitted, for review, the first completed chapter of my literary fiction novelette and received three perfect 10 scores and a publishing contract from Littleton Press.

In June of 2004 I took a big step and became a licensed Firearms Dealer. Now, in addition to my other interests, I pursue my long time interest in firearms at a more professional level.

On March 24th 2009, after the success of my dachshunds, I decided to give them a distinction from my training facility name of "Whispering Pines K-9's", and chose the name "Teckelhut Jagdhunde".

Disclaimer: The name Macnachtan is a Clan name. It is used by many people. I am not the Macnachtan that is threatening frivolous law-suits on the Internet. That is being done by a Lawyer in NYC named T. J. Kincaid. Please do not contact me in regards to these matters!
